In college, many students are trying to create themselves and that may come in the form of a tattoo. Let’s be honest though, we college students often make poor choices and something like a tattoo is permanent. So if you’re debating on a tattoo, why not try it out before you fully commit to having it forever. Here are a few ways to try out your new artwork:

  1. One of the cheapest and easiest ways, you need only 2 products that almost every girl owns: eyeliner and hairspray.

Draw your design with liquid eyeliner (pencil eyeliners can also be used)

If you’d like shading and blending- use a cotton swab

Let it dry

Spray with hairspray (clear nail polish can also be used)

Let dry

Enjoy!

*It should last roughly 24 hours. (Not sure how this works with colored eyeliners, maybe I will try it and update you guys!)

  1.  Another super simple option: permanent markers and/or Sharpies! You can create a stencil or freehand this.
  1.  The next way is to find/create images you want on the computer and print them onto temporary tattoo paper (you can purchase this online for about $7.50 or more).

Cut out your image

Peel off the plastic layer

Place onto desired spot of skin

Thoroughly dampen with wet rag

Peel paper off

Enjoy your temporary tattoo!

*This way is much more complicated (at least in my opinion) but it is a good way to

do colored tattoos.

Extra tip from wikiHow: sprinkle on some baby powder and shake off the excess before using hairspray- it will make the tattoo shinier!
